2.Williams' Collection-Germany Collections
266 1// German Occupation Issues German area collection in 6 volumes. One volume covers the German Empire from 1872 to mid 1935 (regular and BOB issues). The other 5 volumes cover German Colonies, Offices Abroad, Danzig and SAAR, and Occupation issues (German Occupation of other countries, as well as Occupations of German Territory). The pages are professionally hand crafted with spaces for all major and minor varieties (color, perforation, watermarks, paper types and individual issue differences). The space for each stamp includes a typewritten description. Some pages have just a few stamps. Other pages are full, or nearly so, with many single stamps and sets with Catalog values to $100 and more. In many cases the pages show the German connection to a country with places for stamps from subsequent occupiers. Most stamps are in better than Fine condition in both used and mint hinged cases. This is by far the Best German Area Collection seen in the memory of the OSS members who have worked on these volumes. It is certainly worthy of a close examination by any philatelist who enjoys a first class collection. CAT $13,450. $2,500.00 $5,500.00

Warrants a close inspection. $40.00 $100.00
