167 893 Sc. #893, Ten cent Alexander Graham Bell FDC with National Geographic Society printed cachet. Cover signed by Marion Bell Fairchild, his granddaughter. Includes the NGS printed insert plus an additional page with information about his inventions, other than the most famous telephone. He apparently felt that his discovery of alternating current was most important. He was also involved in the founding of the National Geographic Society. $8.00 $20.00
168 1456 // 1694 20 American Revolution Bicentennial Administration FDCs with gold - colored medals. FDCs are Sc. #1456 - 9 (6), #1480 - 3 (3), #1543 - 6 (3), #1565 - 8 (5) and #1691 - 4 (3). Also one Sc. #1629 - 31 FDC with gold - colored medal by the International Stamp Collectors Society. All are unaddressed. Some have light edge wear. $8.00 $20.00

172 1953 - 2002a 2 Complete sets of the Birds and Flowers series on First Day Covers. The first set (Sc.#1953 - 2002) has colorful cachets by noted wildlife artist Chuck Ripper. All have Washington, DC postmarks. The second set (#1953a - 2002a) has engraved Art Craft cachets. Each of these is postmarked from the respective State Capitol. The two sets are in a special flip-up type cover album by the Postal Commemorative Society. All covers are unaddressed. $24.00 $50.00
173 3183 - 3191 Nearly complete set of FDCs for the "Celebrate the 20th Century" series; missing the 1900 - 09 FDCs. Mounted on Postal Commemorative Society pages in a blue PCS Binder. All the covers through the 1950s are PCS cachets and are addressed. The rest of the covers are unaddressed, with various official and unofficial FD postmarks.
