Oregon Stamp Society - Founded 1916 |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Oregon Stamp Society at 4828 NE 33rd Avenue in Portland, Oregon, was founded in 1916 as the Beaver Stamp Society. In 1927, the organization was renamed Oregon Stamp Society. The club’s official publication, The Album Page, began publication in 1959 and soon became a monthly journal. The Album Page was established at the time that efforts began to acquire the former Portland fire station #34 for use as a meeting house. |
